James Shira

James Shira is an accomplished technology and security professional with extensive experience in information security and risk management. Currently serving as the Global & US Chief Information & Technology Officer at PwC since May 2015, James oversees information, technology, and security operations. Prior to this role, James held multiple leadership positions at Zurich Insurance Group, including Global & US Chief Information Security Officer, where responsibilities encompassed cyber security, security engineering, and IT governance. Earlier roles include Chief Security Officer at American General Financial Services, and Chief Information Security Officer for the Americas at Bank Julius Baer. James earned a BBA in Management Information Systems from Baylor University and furthered education at Columbia University.
