Dean Colwell

Dean Colwell has extensive experience in the field of controls engineering, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Controls Manager for the AGV Business Unit and the Assembly and Welding Systems at Fori Automation, Inc. since 2001, Dean specializes in designing systems for Manufacturing Automation, including automated tooling, AGVs, and test equipment. Previous positions include Robotic Engineer and Team Leader at KUKA Robotics, Controls Engineer at Fori Automation from 1991 to 2000, and Controls Designer at Fori Engineering and K-R Automation. Dean holds a B.S.E.E. in Electrical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University, earned between 1983 and 1987.
