Catherine Slaton

Catherine Slaton is a Manager of Climate Strategy at FORLIANCE, where responsibilities include corporate carbon management services, carbon footprinting, and the development of corporate climate strategies and reduction targets. Previously, Catherine served as a Sustainability Associate at Staiy, focusing on projects within the fashion, food, and beverage industries, and conducted LCA analysis of products and materials. Experience also includes roles as a Student Assistant at Technische Universität Berlin and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where support was provided for project management and biodiversity courses, respectively. Catherine began a career as a Research Assistant in the Department of Environmental Sciences at Louisiana State University, organizing collections of arthropod species. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Integrated Natural Resource Management from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Ecology & Management from Louisiana State University, complemented by a semester abroad in Conservation Biology at The University of Queensland.
