Dirk Walterspacher

Dirk Walterspacher is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainable land use and carbon management. Currently serving as the Managing Shareholder and Managing Director at FORLIANCE GmbH since January 2015, Dirk has led ForestFinest Consulting, a consultancy dedicated to developing and certifying sustainable forestry and agroforestry projects globally. Previously, Dirk held the position of CEO Europe at NatureBank Asset Management Inc., where oversight of European operations was maintained for the subsidiary ForestFinest Consulting. Dirk's career also includes roles such as CEO of Carbon Business at CO2OL, Head of Marketing and Sales at Forest Finance Group, and various business development positions within tech companies. Dirk holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, supplemented by studies at The Johns Hopkins University and Universidad Simón Bolívar.
