Thomas Conry is a materials scientist and supply chain leader known for expertise in advanced battery technologies and novel materials development. They led the battery technology and global supply chain team at Tesla from 2014 to 2019, focusing on Li-ion cell materials sourcing and supplier development. Prior to that, they held roles at PolyPlus Battery Company, where they developed commercialization strategies, and have been with Form Energy, Inc. since 2020, managing key strategic materials priorities for innovative energy storage solutions. Currently, Thomas serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at South 8 Technologies, advancing Li-ion battery performance with liquefied gas electrolytes. They are pursuing multiple degrees in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Michigan.
