Form Engineers was established in 2005 by chartered engineer Andrew Ilsley to provide specialist structural engineering consultancy to private residential clients, speculative developers, architects, contractors and public sector bodies, including councils and housing associations.

We specialise in structurally challenging, architecturally stimulating, new build and refurbishment work including period and listed buildings. Our current portfolio of work includes projects in all of the following public and private sectors:

Residential (Private & Social), Education, Retail, Leisure and Commercial. Contract values range from £100k to £20m and our current construction workload is in the region of £150m per year.

The ethos of the practice is to provide innovative and cost effective design solutions to ensure architectural intent is achieved. The principal and associates are involved in all projects irrespective of size or value. This ensures a well managed, ‘hands on’ service to all clients.
