Program Director & Neuro Exercise Trainer - RISE Paralysis Recovery Center at Forma Gym

Rachel Galaraga has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Rachel started their career as an Intern at Up 2 Speed Sports Performance in 2010. In 2013, they worked as a Tennis Coach at Lifetime Tennis before joining MORE Physical Therapy, Inc. as a Physical Therapy Aide. Rachel stayed in this role from September 2013 to March 2016.

In 2016, Rachel became a Tennis Coach at Kim Grant Tennis Inc. and also took on various roles at Project Walk Paralysis Recovery Centers. At Project Walk, they served as a Recovery Assistant, Certified Recovery Specialist/Team Lead, Facility Coordinator, and eventually became the Facility Manager. Rachel'stenure at Project Walk lasted from June 2016 to May 2018.

In 2018, Rachel joined Forma Gym as a Manager at The SPA | at Forma. Rachel'stenure in this role spanned from September to December 2019. Rachel then transitioned to RISE Paralysis Recovery Center as a Manager and later became the Program Director. Rachel's work experience at RISE started in June 2018 and is ongoing.

Rachel Galaraga earned a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from San Jose State University, completing their studies between 2005 and 2010. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School, graduating between 2001 and 2005. In terms of additional certifications, Rachel acquired the BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) certification from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association in June 2015. Additionally, they obtained the CPR & AED Adult certification from the American Red Cross in July 2013.
