Richard Anaya has been working in software and data engineering since 2008. Richard started their career at Charles Schwab as a Software Engineer, then moved to Evernote in 2012, where they also worked as a Software Engineer. In 2016, they joined Magic Leap as a Senior Software/Data Engineer. In 2020, they became a Technical Lead at Formant, where they built data pipelines and visualizations using Typescript, ThreeJS, WebRTC, Python, Go on AWS and Google Cloud, created architectures and open source libraries, and worked with leadership and customers. Also in 2020, they became a Technical Advisor at Systoic, where they bring a career of knowledge to help companies make impactful development, avoid technology traps, and make competitive products.
Richard Anaya attended Rice University from 2001 to 2005, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
