Charlotte Aleman is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communication and marketing. Charlotte currently serves as a Strategic Communicator at Formas since January 2022. Prior to this role, Charlotte was Communications Manager at Post- och telestyrelsen (PTS) from March 2014 to January 2022 and held a similar position at Stockholms stad for a brief period in late 2012. Charlotte's experience also includes freelance consultancy work and various roles at Midfield Media, IQPC, and Web Guide Partner, accumulating expertise in business operations, project coordination, and marketing. Charlotte holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Communication Science from Mid Sweden University and a Diploma in International Marketing & Marketing Communications from the London College of International Business Studies.

Formas is a government research council for sustainable development. We fund research and innovation, develop strategies, perform analyses and conduct evaluations. Our areas of activity include the environment, agricultural sciences and spatial planning. We conduct specific environmental analyses that aim to make it easier for Sweden to achieve our environmental goals. We also communicate research and research results. Formas also hosts the Swedish Climate Policy Council.
