Ilyas Ashirov

Ilyas Ashirov has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an IT Specialist for Xtreme Labs Inc. and Community Living Toronto. In 2013, they were a Quality Assurance Analyst for Global Vision Inc. and a Russian Language Teaching Assistant for the University of Waterloo. In 2014, they were a Quality Assurance Engineer for Blue Coat Systems. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Co-Founder and CEO of UpGrain Inc., a science startup that maximizes productivity of seeds and increases crop yield. In 2018, they joined FormAssembly, where they have held roles as a Customer Success Manager, Sales Development Manager, Sales Development Team Lead, Senior Business Development Representative, and Business Development Representative.

Ilyas Ashirov attended Kentau "Daryn" High School from 2004 to 2009, obtaining a High School Diploma. Ilyas then attended Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2010 and 2011, completing a Bridging Course in English Language. From 2011 to 2016, Ilyas Ashirov attended the University of Waterloo, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree. In January 2022, Ilyas Ashirov obtained a FormAssembly Certification from FormAssembly.
