Debra Wallace

Debra Wallace is an experienced Process Chemist with over 18 years in drug development, spanning from pre-clinical stages to NDA filings. Currently, Debra serves as the Director of Process Chemistry at Cyteir Therapeutics since March 2022. Prior roles include Principal Investigator at Syros Pharmaceuticals and Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, and Senior Principal Investigator at Cyclerion. Debra has accumulated 17 years as a Principal Scientist in the Process Chemistry department at Merck, with experience in both the UK and the US. Debra's academic credentials include a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge and a Post Doctoral fellowship in Organic Chemistry from The University of British Columbia.
