Nick Wiersema

Nick Wiersema is an experienced environmental consultant, serving as the President and CEO of Wiersema Environmental Consulting, LLC since 1998. With over two decades of expertise, Nick specializes in baseline data collection, ecosystem assessment, ecological risk assessment, and environmental impact statements. Additionally, as a Senior Scientist at Formation Environmental, LLC, Nick provides ecological risk assessment and ecosystem characterization services. Leadership roles include serving as Chairman for the Central Texas Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation since 2002, advocating for coastal health and accessibility. Nick also owns Shred Stixx Wake Surf Company and Chaos Surf Company, focusing on innovative surfboard design and production. Previous roles include Environmental Manager at Vista Gold Corp and Project Manager at Tetra Tech, among others. Nick holds a degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
