Sean Covington

Sean Covington is a Senior Aquatic Ecotoxicologist at Formation Environmental, where expertise in aquatic biology and toxicology is applied to projects addressing surface water quality issues and regulatory compliance. With a solid background in ecological risk assessments from previous positions at NewFields, Tetra Tech, McCulley, Frick, and Gilman, and The Cadmus Group, Sean has made significant contributions to aquatic science, including data collection and analysis, and development of dissolved oxygen criteria. Sean holds a Master’s degree in Aquatic Biology/Toxicology from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Education also includes ongoing studies at the University of Wyoming.
