Yohannes T. Yimam

Yohannes T. Yimam, PhD is a Senior Soil Scientist/ Hydrologist at Formation Environmental, LLC since July 2017. Prior to this role, Yohannes worked as an Assistant Research Scientist at Texas A&M University from November 2014 to June 2017. Yohannes also served as a Soil Physics Graduate Research Assistant at Oklahoma State University from January 2011 to October 2014. With a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Soil Sciences from Oklahoma State University, Yohannes has a strong background in analyzing weather factors' influence on crop growth and water availability. Additionally, Yohannes has experience in developing geostatistical sampling strategies and improving land surface models for better weather, climate, and water prediction.
