Derek Gonzenbach

Derek Gonzenbach has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Derek currently works as a Senior Account Manager - Outdoor High Performance at Formerra since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of the Board of Directors at Valley Queen Cheese starting in May 2021. Before joining Valley Queen Cheese, Derek spent several years at Avient Corporation, where they had multiple roles, including Senior Account Manager / Strategic Sales - Outdoor High Performance from January 2021 to November 2022, and Account Manager from July 2020 to August 2021. Derek also worked at PolyOne as an Account Manager from July 2015 to July 2020. Earlier in their career, Derek held positions at St. Jude Medical as a Program Manager from December 2013 to July 2015, Phillips-Medisize as a Corporate Program Manager from September 2012 to November 2013, and as a Project Engineer II - Design & Development from October 2011 to September 2012. Derek also worked at CerBo Ltd as a Project Engineer - Medical Device for a brief period in 2011. Additionally, Derek gained experience as a Quality Engineer- Medical Device Assembly at Phillips Plastics from May 2009 to July 2011 and as a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op at Harley-Davidson Motor Company from June 2008 to January 2009.

Derek Gonzenbach holds a Masters of Science degree in Technology Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering Technology at the same university, from 2003 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Derek has obtained certifications in "Leading Globally" and "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn, in May 2020.
