Michael A. Covington, Ph.D. has been working in the field since 1982. Michael A. began as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Southern California, followed by a Consultant role at Covington Innovations. In 1985, they became a Contributing Editor for PC Tech Journal and in 2006, they authored Digital SLR Astrophotography. Michael A. then worked as a Consultant for Coraid, Inc. (2008), FormFree (2010), and Strategic Analysis Enterprises (2008). In 2012, they became a Member at Four Athens and in 2020, they became the Director of Research and Senior Research Scientist at FormFree\u00ae. Additionally, they were the Associate Director of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence at the University of Georgia.
Michael A. Covington, Ph.D. began their education in 1970 at Valwood School, where their strongest subjects were mathematics and Latin. Michael A. then attended Valdosta High School from 1971 to 1972. In 1973, they attended the University of Sydney for a summer program in astrophysics at the International Science School. After that, they attended The University of Georgia from 1973 to 1977, where they earned a B.A. in Linguistics. In 1977, they attended the University of Cambridge for an M.Phil. in Linguistics. Finally, in 1978 they attended Yale University, where they earned their Ph.D. in Linguistics in 1982.
