Formic AI is a Canadian AI company in Toronto, Ontario, dedicated to unlocking the value of artificial intelligence for regulated professions. Our mission is to enhance the efficiency, productivity, and quality of life for professionals by providing powerful generative and non-generative AI tools built on a foundation of trust and uncompromising compliance.

Formic has developed the Boreal architecture, leveraging a series of patent-pending inventions to ingest, organize, and retrieve any volume or type of data in an AI-integrated system. Formic's Intuitive Referencing technology provides non-generative citations to source material for each component of AI responses, while the Boreal architecture eliminates hallucinations at the fact level and provides fully auditable "explainability logs" which track, save, and reproduce the code and logic of the process to create each response.
