Elin Barnes

Elin Barnes has a diverse work experience in program and project management roles. Elin worked at Formic Labs as a Program Manager starting in 2023. Prior to that, they had several roles at Google, including Engineering Program Manager for Nest, Engineering Program Manager for Merchant Toolkit, and Engineering Program Manager for Google Assistant. At Google, they led various product launches, managed cross-functional teams, and coordinated internationalization efforts.

Before their time at Google, Elin was a Senior Lead Program Manager at UpLift Inc., where they managed partner implementations and technical migrations. Elin also worked at Apple as a Senior Engineering Project Manager, overseeing the design, development, and launch of a video application. Additionally, they were a Sr. Program Manager at Samsung Electronics, leading a team in developing a customer loyalty application.

Prior to these roles, Elin worked as a Program Manager at Quixey, managing integrations of app search/discovery technology, and as a Program Manager at TiVo, leading the 3rd Party Applications program. Elin also worked at Microsoft as a Program Manager for Atlas Search and at Google Inc. as a Project Manager for Book Search.

Elin Barnes completed a Master's degree in International Commerce from Universitat d'Alacant from 2002 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy from the University of Washington, where they studied from 1998 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Elin Barnes received the Jira Fundamentals Badge certification from Formic Labs in June 2023.
