Natalie M.

Natalie M. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Natalie is currently the Head of Business Development / Customer Discovery at Formic Labs since October 2022. Prior to that, they were on sabbatical from May 2022 to November 2022, working on various projects related to AI/ML applied to R&D and space exploration while continuing to mentor and consult with startups and venture capitalists.

From August 2019 to May 2022, Natalie co-founded and served as the Head of Business Development at Felix Biotechnology, a startup focused on developing phage therapy for treating infections and editing microbial communities. Natalie was responsible for driving all aspects of business development, including market analysis, deal negotiation, and collaborating with research and industry stakeholders.

Before joining Felix Biotechnology, Natalie was a Blavatnik Fellow in Entrepreneurship at Yale University's Office of Cooperative Research from May 2019 to August 2020. Natalie also served as a Graduate Research Fellow at Yale University from August 2011 to November 2016, where they worked on biosecurity and biocontainment mechanisms for genetically modified organisms. During this time, Natalie co-authored multiple papers, presented at national conferences, and received prestigious fellowships and honors.

Additionally, Natalie has experience as a Consultant at ClearView Healthcare Partners from January 2018 to March 2019, where they provided strategic insights for clients in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Natalie also worked as a Pro-Bono Consultant and Project Lead at the Yale University Graduate Consulting Club from September 2015 to September 2016.

Furthermore, Natalie has engaged in undergraduate research and peer learning facilitation at UCLA from 2007 to 2011. Natalie has also pursued personal growth and cultural experiences through extensive world travel from October 2016 to November 2017.
