Forminit, formerly Getform.io, is a form backend API that helps developers collect and manage form submissions without building their own backend infrastructure.

Forminit works with HTML, React, Next.js, Astro, Vue, Nuxt, Webflow and any other frontend stack. Developers can connect an existing form to a Forminit endpoint and start receiving submissions in minutes.

The platform supports submission storage, file uploads, spam protection, email notifications, autoresponders, webhooks, integrations, data validation and authenticated API access.

Forminit is built for developers, agencies, start-ups and businesses that need reliable form processing for contact forms, job applications, lead generation, file uploads, support requests, registrations and custom workflows.

Originally launched as Getform.io in 2015, the platform was rebranded as Forminit in January 2026.
