Doug Kent

Doug Kent joined Formosa Group’s leadership team as Senior Vice President in 2021. His primary responsibilities include participation in the development and execution of new opportunities, improve operational efficiencies and generate innovative new strategies in the television and feature markets for Formosa.

Growing up in Los Angeles Doug was always captivated by the entertainment industry. He found a passion for post production, and steadfastly rose through the ranks in the sound industry. Doug’s focus and dedication, client and talent relationships and vast technical prowess, has made him one of the most respected leaders in sound. Entering management early in his career as Manager of Operations for ACME Soundworks, he eventually moved on to co-found Miles of Fun. He spent fifteen years at Technicolor Sound Services as Senior Vice President and helmed Westwind Sound as President before joining Formosa Group.

Doug studied at California State Polytechnic University and has received multiple MPSE awards for Sound Supervisory Excellence, Episodic Television.
