Jay Nierenberg

Jay Nierenberg is an accomplished Supervising Sound Editor with extensive experience in the post-production sound industry. Currently, Nierenberg serves in the same capacity at both Formosa Group, starting in September 2018, and Sony Pictures Entertainment since April 2023. Previously, Nierenberg owned and operated Sublime Sound from May 2006 to April 2023, providing a wide range of sound services for various media projects. Other notable positions include Supervising Sound Editor roles at NBCUniversal Media, LLC (April 2015 - August 2019) and SoundStorm, Inc. (August 1992 - November 2002), as well as a Senior Sound Composer role at Elias Arts (November 2002 - May 2006). Nierenberg's career began in 1987 as an Assistant Sound Editor while studying at New York University, where education took place from 1984 to 1987.
