John Matter Mpse

John Matter MPSE is an accomplished Dialog Editor with extensive experience in the film and television industry. Currently employed at Formosa Group since September 2018, John has contributed to high-profile projects such as *The Sympathizer* (HBO), *Avatar: The Last Airbender* (Netflix), and *Game of Thrones*. Previously, John held positions at Universal Television as a Sound Editor focusing on dialog and Foley, and at Warner Bros. as a Foley Editor and Backgrounds Editor. With a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre/Theater Sound Design from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts from the University of Arizona, John has also been involved in educational initiatives within the Motion Picture Editors Guild, sharing expertise through seminars and workshops.
