Samuel Chen began their work experience in 2014 as an Account Receivable Associate at Allure Home Creation Co. Samuel then interned at the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in 2017, where they coordinated a language teachers program and managed budgets for student associations. In 2016, Chen became a Graduate Student at Stevens Institute of Technology, where they performed visualization models and frameworks for Systems Engineering and derived recommendations for tooling. Samuel also worked as a Clerk at ShopRite of Greater Morristown in 2018. Currently, they are a Staff Engineer at Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A., starting in September 2018. Chen is also a member of INCOSE since July 2017.
Samuel Chen earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from National Chung Hsing University in 2008-2012. Samuel then pursued a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Samuel has also obtained several certifications, including "Structuring Machine Learning Projects", "Managing Project Risks and Changes", "Budgeting and Scheduling Projects", "Initiating and Planning Projects", and "AI For Everyone", all from Coursera.
