Robert Stanley

Robert Stanley is a Senior Track Systems Technician at Formula 1, responsible for overseeing timing and telemetry systems at global events since October 2023. Previously, Robert held the positions of Chief Engineer and Mechatronics Lead at NU Racing, where the focus was on long-term development and innovation in high voltage battery packs and other systems from July 2020 to October 2023. Additionally, Robert served as Team Leader, overseeing the design and manufacture of an electric vehicle for the 2022 FSAE Australia competition. Academic experience includes a role as a casual tutor at the University of Newcastle, teaching various engineering courses. Robert also worked as a Duty Manager at Belgravia Leisure from October 2018 to October 2023. Robert holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors Class I in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Newcastle, completed in December 2023.
