Lachlan Nixon

Lachlan Nixon is a seasoned investor and board member with a focus on technology and sustainability. Currently serving as Founding Partner at Motion Capital since January 2023, Lachlan is also involved with multiple organizations, including Aspiring Materials, where Lachlan holds the title of Investor and Director, focusing on carbon capture and abatement materials for heavy industry. Additional roles include Investor and Board Observer positions at both Quantifi Photonics, which specializes in test and measurement solutions for optical communications, and Miruku. With a background that includes co-founding Cetogenix and engaging as an Investor with various tech start-ups through Making Waves Limited, Lachlan's expertise lies in corporate development and innovative environmental solutions. Lachlan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law and Music from the University of Otago and has completed education at Auckland Grammar School.
