Frank-Peter Wachs

Frank-Peter Wachs has a strong background in preclinical development, starting with their role as the Head of Preclinical Development at Formycon AG, which they have held since March 2016. Prior to that, they were a Senior Manager in the same department from January 2015 to February 2016. Earlier in their career, Frank-Peter held the position of Manager Non Clinical at Emergent BioSolutions from April 2012 to December 2014. Before that, they worked at Bavarian Nordic A/S, where they were the Manager of Assay Development from November 2009 to April 2012, and a Scientist from July 2007 to April 2012. Frank-Peter's experience also includes a role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the GSF - German Research Center for Environmental Health, Institute of Stem Cell Research (ISF), where they worked from February 2006 to June 2007. Frank-Peter began their postdoctoral career at the Klinik und Poliklinik für Neurologie und VW-Nachwuchsgruppe, Universität Regensburg, where they worked from November 2000 to January 2006.

Frank-Peter Wachs completed their Abitur in Biology, General at Finsterwalder Gymnasium Rosenheim from 1978 to 1987. Frank-Peter then pursued further education at the University of Regensburg, where they obtained a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from 1990 to 2000.
