Niraj Patel

Niraj Patel, PhD, serves as the Data Scientist Team Lead at Forrester since April 2020, where responsibilities include setting team priorities, mentoring data scientists, and developing algorithms for survey data processing. Notable achievements involve maintaining a comprehensive R codebase for client deliveries and research reports, creating a machine learning web application for data exploration, and leading company-wide upgrades in R. Previously, Niraj has held roles as Data Scientist and Data Science Researcher at Forrester, contributing to automated data analysis pipelines and enhancements in data quality, and was a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science, where a predictive web app for real estate was developed. Niraj's education includes a PhD and an MA in Social/Personality Psychology with a minor in Statistics from the University of Missouri-Columbia, along with a BS in Psychology and Biology from The Ohio State University.
