Emily currently holds the position of Associate Principal at ForrestPerkins, where they also serve as the Co-Residential Practice Area & DC Studio Leader. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Associate and Associate at the same firm, taking on the responsibilities of a Project Manager / Interior Architect. Emily'swork at ForrestPerkins has focused on various projects in the hospitality and residential sectors.
Before joining ForrestPerkins, Emily gained valuable experience as an Architecture Intern at SHP Leading Design, where they contributed to the design teams and worked on LEED-certified educational projects. Emily also worked as an Architecture Intern at ForrestPerkins, primarily focusing on the renovation and addition of the Joule Hotel in downtown Dallas.
Emily'searlier experience includes an Architecture Internship at Richard Henry Behr Architect, P.C., where they were involved in a range of projects, including a kitchen renovation and a high-rise mixed-use development. During this time, they gained experience in construction documents, schematic design, and client meetings.

Emily (Woods) Weiskopf, AIA has a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Cincinnati. Emily also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business. In addition, Emily has a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati. Emily is also a Registered Architect, certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) since 2017.
