Forsa Energy is a UK based company formed in 2017 to develop, construct, own and operate flexible gas generation and energy storage assets. However its genesis stretches further back to 2011 when it started life as a renewables developer. Forsa Energy has a history of developing & operating power generation. Under its previous name Velocita, the team developed, built & financed a sizeable renewable portfolio divesting the French renewable platform & UK operational & in-construction assets to institutional investors in 2016/17. In 2017, the business rebranded and entered the flexible gas generation market to meet the UK’s strategic need for flexibility with power generation. The Company is now part of private equity group Tiger Infrastructure Partners network and resource portfolio. Tiger has over $1.7bn under management and has currently 19 portfolio companies.
