Wolfgang Zeier

Wolfgang Zeier is a prominent academic and researcher currently serving as a Professor at the University of Münster and as Head of Department at Forschungszentrum Jülich since July and August 2020, respectively. Prior to these roles, Wolfgang Zeier was a Junior Group Leader at Justus-Liebig University Giessen from 2015 to 2020, and held positions as a Research Associate at Northwestern University and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the California Institute of Technology and University of Southern California, focusing on solid state chemistry for applications in solar fuel generation and Li-ion batteries. Wolfgang Zeier completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Inorganic Chemistry at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, further establishing expertise in thermoelectric materials and their characterization through various advanced techniques.
