Christer Bencker

Christer Bencker is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as First Engineer Officer at ForSea since January 2014, Christer has previously held various leadership and technical roles at Ocean Rig AS and TT-Line AB, including Technical Section Leader and Chief Engineer. Christer's educational background includes a BSc in Marine Engineering from Maritime University Kalmar, along with specialized training in pipe welding and workshop mechanics. Early training as a sergeant and submarine mechanic during military service further underscores Christer's technical expertise, complemented by foundational education at Seaman's School in Helsingborg.
