Yaron Levinson

Head of Product at ForSight Robotics

Yaron Levinson has over 17 years of work experience in various roles. Yaron began their career in 2004 as an Opto-Mechanical Designer at Applied Materials and then worked as a Teaching Assistant at Ben Gurion University. In 2009, they became a Teaching Assistant at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. In 2011, they worked as an Intern in the Control Group at General Motors and as a Senior Algorithm Engineer at M.S.T - Medical Surgery Technologies Ltd. Yaron then became the CEO of Paragon Measure in 2014 and a Postdoctoral Innovation Fellow at The Joan and Irwin Jacobs Technion-Cornell Innovation Institute. In 2016, they were appointed VP Advanced Systems and VP R&D at Memic Innovative Surgery. In 2022, they became the Head of Product at ForSight Robotics and VP R&D at Carevature Robotics.

Yaron Levinson obtained a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev between 2003 and 2007. Yaron then went on to earn an M.Sc. in Robotics and Continuum Mechanics from the same university between 2006 and 2008. In 2008, they began their Ph.D. in Control and Automation at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and completed it in 2013. In 2021, they obtained a certification in Architecture and Systems Engineering: Models and Methods to Manage Complex Systems from MIT xPRO.
