Researcher And Geophysicist at FORSVARETS FORSKNINGSINSTITUTT

Marianne Lanzky Kolstrup has extensive experience in geophysics, currently serving as a researcher at Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt (FFI) since October 2014. Prior to this role, Marianne completed a PhD in geophysics at the University of Oslo, focusing on seismic tomography and joint inversions of seismological data sets, with a maternal leave from June 2012 to April 2013. Additional experience includes a summer intern position at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI) in 2010, where near-surface geophysical surveying was conducted, and a summer intern role at Statoil, involving programming and software testing. Earlier, Marianne worked part-time as a secretary/librarian at the University of Oslo's Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Library. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Geophysics and a Bachelor's degree in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Oslo, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music Performance from The Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus/Aalborg.
