Karen Olesen

Karen Olesen has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in various roles related to administration, history, and sports management. Currently serving as a Specialkonsulent at Forsvarsministeriets Ejendomsstyrelse since February 2021, Karen has previously held positions such as Deputy Chairman at Frederikshavn Kommunes Idrætsklub from November 2019 to January 2021, and as a Trust Representative for the Danish Association of Masters and Communication and Language at Frederikshavn Municipality from January 2018 to January 2021. Karen worked as a Faglig koordinator and archivist at the Municipality of Frederikshavn between November 2014 and January 2021, and as an archivist at Frederikshavn stadsarkiv from 2009 to 2014. Karen holds a Master's degree in History from Aalborg University, achieved between 2003 and 2009, with additional studies at Lund University during the 2007-2008 academic year.
