James Knight

James Knight is an experienced Architect and Director of Facilities with a tenure at Fort Bend County since October 2006, where responsibilities include strategic planning, programming, space planning, budgeting, conceptual design, and construction observation for various County projects. Prior to that role, James served as Associate Principal at Bailey Architects from March 1996 to October 2006, acting as Project Architect and Project Manager, while also contributing to business development efforts. Early career experience includes an Architect Intern position at PBK from July 1990 to March 1996, providing construction document support for public K-12 projects. James holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Texas Tech University, completed in 1989, and graduated from Angleton High School in 1983.
