Carmen Acevedo

Carmen Acevedo is an experienced educator and instructional designer specializing in world languages. Currently serving as the World Language Department Head and Teacher at Clements High School within Fort Bend Independent School District since August 2016, Carmen also works as an independent contractor focusing on online course creation, curriculum design, and teacher development. Prior roles include serving as a FACE Communications Specialist at Houston Independent School District and as a high school educator at Spring Branch Independent School District, where Carmen taught Advanced Placement/International Baccalaureate and Dual Language courses. Carmen holds a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from Universidad Nebrija and a Master's degree in Spanish Language and Culture from the University of Salamanca, Spain.
