Chris Wu joined Fort Capital in July 2019 as an Asset Manager, bringing with him 9 years of experience in multifamily acquisitions, development, and investment sales. He then transitioned to join the Property Management team as a Property Manager. He is now the portfolio Administrator where he is responsible for streamlining the Property Management operations. His passion for real estate has carried him into principal investing, which drives his curiosity of new markets and product types.
Chris began his career underwriting institutional-grade assets for sale on behalf of large pension funds, REITs, and sponsored capital groups. From there, he participated in equity placements towards major DFW projects near AllianceTexas and the George W. Bush Presidential Library, among other investments throughout the metroplex. His most recent experience in affordable housing development and management rounds out his capacity for major real estate functions.
