Michael Allison

Michael Allison serves as the Associate Director at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery since January 2011, having held various leadership roles including Director of Business Operations, Director of Development, and Director of Major Gifts & Fund Management. In the development team, responsibilities include implementing marketing, communications, special events, and fundraising strategies to foster support through membership programs, individual donor campaigns, grant proposals, and corporate sponsorships. Prior experience includes Operations Manager at Discovery Center Science Museum, Office Manager at PS 1 Charter School, and Administrative Specialist at The H.R. Meininger Company. Michael Allison earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fine and Studio Arts from Northern Illinois University between 1987 and 1993.
