Jacqueline Abreu

Jacqueline Abreu is an experienced music therapist currently working at Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center since August 2021, where music therapy is implemented in therapeutic groups to enhance self-expression and emotional well-being among patients. Additionally, Jacqueline is affiliated with Creative Arts Therapies of the Palm Beaches and completed an internship at Albert J. Solnit Center, focusing on youth in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Previous roles include a barista at Tea & Poets and a research assistant at School Readiness Lab, where data collection and transcription were key responsibilities. Jacqueline's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy from the University of Miami and an Associate of Arts in Music Education from Miami Dade College, as well as a Cum Laude high school graduation from TERRA Environmental Research Institute.
