Donald Weathers

Donald Weathers has extensive law enforcement experience, beginning as a Correctional Officer at the State of Florida Department of Corrections Hendry Correctional Institution from 1989 to 1993, where responsibilities included the care, custody, and control of inmates and involvement in the correctional emergency response team. Weathers served as a Lieutenant at the Hendry County Sheriff's Office from 1993 to 2004, followed by a role as Lieutenant and third in command at the Clewistion Police Department from 2004 to 2007. Currently, Weathers has been a Detective at the Fort Myers Police Department since April 2007, specializing in investigations of moral crimes and conducting undercover operations. Earlier experience includes serving as a Police Officer, engaged in road patrol and crime suppression operations. Education includes studies at Traverse City Senior High and training at SWFCJA.
