Ryan Garis has a long history of engineering experience. In 2021, they began working as a Mechanical Engineer for FORT Robotics. Prior to that, they were a Test Engineer II at Greene, Tweed from 2020-2021. From 2012-2020, they worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer for Sun Automation Group. During their time there, they were the SUN Lead-Edge Feeder Product Lead and designed, managed and supported custom gearboxes and vacuum feed tables utilized in rotating machinery in the corrugated industry. Ryan also designed retrofit upgrade packages for dated corrugated machinery. From 2011-2012, they worked as a Reliability Engineer Co-op for PECO Energy, where they managed employee and customer concerns about damaged equipment and routinely analyzed and created work requests when corrective action was needed. In 2010, they worked as a Project Engineer Co-op for Lindab Ventilation. Prior to that, they were a Student and Sustainable Vehicles Research Co-op at Drexel University from 2007-2011.
Ryan Garis obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics from Drexel University in 2012, having started in 2007.
