Sam Wallin is an experienced library professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an Analyst/Project Coordinator at Fort Vancouver Regional Library District since August 2009, Sam has held multiple roles including Data Analyst/Projects Coordinator and Rural Services Coordinator, notably developing stationary library service locations to enhance community access. Additionally, Sam is a member of the Washington Library Association and has worked as a Woodland Community Librarian since 2011. Academic contributions include research on student space needs at Washington State University Vancouver, with presentations at ACRL 2019 and ongoing publication efforts. Previous positions include Librarian and Library Assistant at Fort Vancouver Regional Library, where Sam provided reference services and information literacy instruction. Sam holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Emporia State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Theater from Western Washington University.
