Abby Widmer

Abby Widmer, MSW, is an experienced social worker and behavior consultant with a diverse background in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. Currently serving as a Special Education Therapist at Fort Wayne Community Schools since November 2021, Abby also works as a Behavior Consultant/Trainer at New Wave Wellness. Previous roles include Behavior Consultant positions at Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana and Ferraro Behavior Services, in addition to social work at Anthem, Inc. and Odyssey Healthcare. Abby has extensive experience in providing educational programs on sexual assault awareness as the Director of the REACT/Rape Awareness Programs at Fort Wayne Women's Bureau and has held leadership roles such as Executive Director at Loving Option. Academic qualifications include a Master of Social Work from Indiana University Purdue University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Ball State University.
