Chad Hissong

Chad Hissong has a strong background in education, with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Chad began their career in 1989 as an English Teacher at Hamilton Southeastern Schools, where they worked until 1997. During this time, they also served as the Dean of Students. In 1999, they moved on to North Adams Community Schools as an Assistant Principal for a year before joining East Allen County Schools in 2000 as an Assistant Principal. In 2008, they joined Fort Wayne Community Schools as a Principal and later became a Director. Currently, Chad Hissong holds the position of Principal at Fort Wayne Community Schools.

Chad Hissong earned a Bachelor of Science degree in English - Secondary Education from Ball State University in 1989. Chad then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Education Administration and Supervision from the same university, completing it between 1993 and 1996. Later, Chad obtained a Specialist in Education Degree in Educational Leadership from Indiana University Bloomington, which they completed in 2006.
