Leia Edmondson

Leia Edmondson is an experienced engineer with a strong background in material development and education. Currently employed at Fort Wayne Metals since September 2021, Leia has previously held the position of Material Development Engineer at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions from June 2019 to September 2021, focusing on optimizing sealing and bearing performance through new PTFE compounds. Prior to this role, Leia served as a Learning Center Tutor at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, providing academic support in various subjects. An internship at Taghleef Industries involved research and development techniques for thin plastic films. Leia holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and graduated as valedictorian with an Indiana Core 40 Academic Honors Diploma from Horizon Christian Academy.
