Maureen A. McKenna is an experienced grant writer currently working at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden since June 2019, where responsibilities include researching and writing grant proposals and reports, conducting grant prospect research, and assisting with fundraising for major capital projects. Previous roles include serving as Grant Writer/Advancement Administrator/Customer Service at the Botanical Research Institute of Texas, Annual Fund and Foundation Giving Manager at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, and various positions at the Orlando Museum of Art, including Grants Manager and Associate Curator. Additional experience includes curatorial roles at Smith College and the Zimmerli Art Museum, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Bryn Mawr College and a Master of Arts in Art History from Tulane University.
