Sara Thurber

Sara Thurber currently serves as the Vice President of Economic Development for the Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership since April 2023 and holds a similar title at the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce since December 2019. Prior roles include Retail Strategist and Broker at The Retail Strategy from January 2017 to December 2019, where Sara facilitated national retailers' expansion through strategic real estate positioning. Earlier experience includes positions at Ben Kinney Real Estate Team as a Licensed Real Estate Professional, Director of CRE Marketing & Business Development at United Bankshares, Inc., and Development & Acquisitions Coordinator at Omni Hotels. Sara's education includes an Executive MBA from Texas Christian University, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Advertising/PR from Texas Christian University, and specialized training at the Economic Development Institute.
