Ricky Brown

Ricky is the inaugural Principal at I.M. Terrell Academy for STEM and Visual Performing Arts. Working in the Fort Worth ISD since 2000-01, Ricky enjoys the journey of influencing and impacting children’s lives in positive ways. He graduated from the University of Maine with a BS in Business Administration, Marketing. After 10 years of teaching and coaching, he furthered his educational career, earning an MEd in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. Ricky has been involved in opening two new academies in Fort Worth ISD: Young Men’s Leadership Academy (a nationally recognized school) and I.M. Terrell Academy for STEM and Visual Performing Arts. He also was responsible for rebranding and turning around Jacquet Middle School.
