Jacob Sanchez

Jacob Sanchez is a seasoned journalist currently serving as Senior Education Reporter and Fellows Editor at Fort Worth Report since March 2021. Previously, Jacob held the position of Local Government Reporter at Temple Daily Telegram from June 2016 to March 2021, focusing on local government issues and accountability. As Editor-in-Chief at Hilltop Views from August 2014 to May 2016, Jacob led a team to achieve numerous awards and initiated a breaking news strategy. Jacob's earlier experience includes internships at Texas Tribune, The Texas Observer, and Quay County Sun Newspaper/Clovis News Journal. Jacob earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from St. Edward's University in 2016.
